AUTUMNAL EQUINOX

The Autumnal Equinox in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia was on Monday, 20 March 2017 at 9:29 pm AEDT. On the two equinoxes every year the Sun shines directly on the Equator and the length of day and night is nearly equal – but not exactly. The Autumnal Equinox marks the moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator – the imaginary line in the sky above the Earth’s equator – from South to North in March (in the Southern Hemisphere).

  4. A great collage you are sharing here! Are the green prickly ones, the fruit that tastes good but has a very pungent smell? (I only know the name my mother gave to it, which may nob be the English name)
Looked the seasons around the globe on-line, and for Australia it said March- summer! So, that really confuses things giving the wrong info!
I appreciate the story of the Little Prince - sometimes our ideas of "saving time" are not such good ones, eh?
Thank you for sharing both your images and comments with ALL SEASONS, and have a autumn-full week!
